Di8it, a company formed by Shawn Defreitas and Begona Bagur, two graduates from Brighton University, is making its mark in the world of User Experience.

Di8it are soon to launch a social networking site for the Coastal Digital sector that will facilitate online discussion between businesses to encourage collaboration and commercial opportunities. Use8 also run digital events providing the latest information on technology including film, TV, mobile and gaming innovations. The site promotes best practice to help produce better product design.

The next event Exploring the UX Dimensions of Video Game Design, is scheduled for August 29th in Brighton. Speakers will include:

- Jason Avent, Games Director of Disney company Black Rock Studios – the premier racing genre studio

- Owen Daly-Jones – Director of Usability Services – at Serco Usability Services, Europe's most experienced usability consultancy

- Aaron Ludlow, Producer at Blast! Games, who has worked on games for Nintendo and helps create licensed DS, Wii and PS2 products
