Ecomgapie, was thus founded, and set itself the mission of providing accessibility of eco-friendly, biodegradable, recycled, and fair trade products to the high street shopper - and all situated under one roof. Products are sourced from ethical and responsible suppliers, with a particular emphasis on supporting local designers and cottage industries.

Such a noble venture, has gained the support from local MP, Michael Foster MP, who has a special interest in climate change, and has kindly agreed to officially open the shop on Saturday November 7th 2009.
